Fergus Dyer-Smith, Wooshii

By 2004 Fergus had spent several years building the UK’s leading student tour operator and Europe’s largest Winter music festival and decided to swap his snowboard for a surfboard in South West Portugal. A bizarre place to then co-found a start-up like Wooshii! Wooshii is an on-line marketplace for video professionals servicing small businesses with videos for their websites. In 2011 Wooshii was partly acquired by European digital marketing agency GetUpdated. Fergus is CEO at Wooshii and can be regularly spotted at airports in London, Manchester, Faro, Calgary and Stockholm.

Peter LaMotte, GeniusRocket

Peter LaMotte is President of GeniusRocket a creative agency based in Washington DC. First hired by GeniusRocket to run their marketing department, Peter eventually became President of the company at which point he changed the business model from a crowdsourcing company running video and design contests, to a creative agency powered by the creativity of vetted professional community. He came to GeniusRocket from Corporate Executive Board where he was with the Marketing Leadership Council and Customer Contact Council. He has worked in the sales and marketing divisions of IBM, Apple, and Intrepid Aviation. He holds a B.A. in International Business from Rhodes College and a MBA from Vanderbilt University.
