The presentation will take place on Dec. 12 at 4:15 p.m. PST at the BIA/Kelsey Interactive Local Media West Conference in San Francisco.

With more than 800 million users worldwide, Facebook has become a critical element to local social media advertising, giving businesses an unprecedented ability to target customers based on location, demographics and interests. The experts will examine the strategies local business, agencies and publishers should pursue to succeed on Facebook. They will also discuss alternatives in social media, and changes they will face in the near future.

The panel will feature Robertson, Sivan Metzger, General Manager of Local and Social for Kenshoo and Craig Donato, CEO of Oodle.

“Facebook is an incredible resource for enterprise and small businesses that rely on local advertising,” said Robertson. “We’ve seen huge demand for Facebook advertising from our search marketing advertisers who also want to capitalize on the targeting capabilities Facebook offers.
