Lijit: A Fun Tool in Your PPC Arsenal

When installing WordPress widgets on the Trada blog, one of my first activities was to install the Lijit widget. If you’re not familiar with Lijit, they allow users to search all of your social media content. In addition to our blog, we have Twitter, Facebook and Flickr accounts, with plans to add additional outlets. Lijit helps our readers find what they’re looking for, wherever it may appear.

Lijit’s cloud of most recent search terms tells us what our Trada readers want to know. Plus, when we find search terms without results, we know what our readers are looking for and that we need to build content around. From a pay-per-click perspective, the Lijit widget provides great insight into the content our readers are most interested in. The Lijit widget can help us build out our arsenal of long-tail keywords, a strategy we think is important to the success of PPC campaigns.

We also recently talked about the need for international campaigns, which is reflected in our Lijit stats that show us the top 25 most recent locations of our blog visitors. For us, those locations recently included Australia, France, Denmark, Brussels, India and Spain.

Plus, Lijit is a fellow local Boulder company, and we love our fellow Boulderites. If you’re interested in learning more about Lijit, visit their blog, Twitter account and Facebook fan page.

Nothing but love for Lijit

Thanks for the post and for pointing out how useful Lijit is for helping with PPC keywords. We think our stats rock as well!

Also? Neil really does our shirt justice. That hair, that light…so nice.
