What is Crowd Mechanics?

Taking direction from the well-designed concepts of game mechanics, Trada has created a proprietary platform for managing advertiser and Optimizer marketplace incentives.

In order to get participants in Trada to perform to everyone’s best interests, we have implemented a motivational and engagement system designed to drive outcomes in a crowd through individual and group incentives: monetary and non-monetary rewards, levels, and achievements.

What does this mean for Trada advertisers and agencies?

First, it means that campaign Optimizers are held accountable for their work. They are motivated to work because they’re paid on performance, but they’re also incentivized to do the best possible work for you, because of the system of peer management, public achievements, and leveled access.

But the pendulum swings both ways. Remember, Trada is a marketplace, and our Optimizers choose to work on campaigns based on a variety of factors: search marketing expertise, tempting budget, and ability to make money. But they may also choose your campaign because you have a high advertiser rating, compelling (and realistic) CPA goal, and a history of providing feedback, responding to requests, and engaging with the crowd.

All of this information is public—it works like a community—and it gives you the opportunity to have the best Optimizers working on your campaign, just by ‘playing by the rules’ in Trada.

It’s an ecosystem that could be chaotic. But we’ve given it structure: a framework, an ethos, a beautiful and complex system.

That’s crowd mechanics.
